“Allowing ourselves to heal is allowing ourselves to be messy.” My name is Marisa and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a passion for providing heart-centered, quality services to individuals. More specifically, I am someone who sparks positivity in people’s lives and brings a level of validation and support. I find that holding ourselves to a standard of grace, not perfection, can make a huge difference in our daily lives.

I bring over nine years of counseling experience in different capacities, across a variety of treatment settings including: anxiety, depression, family and relationship issues, stress management, weight concerns, self-image and self-esteem issues and vocational counseling. I love to include personalized homework & journal prompts for clients. I find it really helpful to dive into thoughtful questions to review together.

Together we will unpack and move through any concerns. I find great fulfillment in providing guidance and empowerment to others. I love to be apart of the obstacles and journey of my clients' lives. We are going to have fun. Besides having a clinical view on mental health, I also try to have the most humanistic view and offer a safe therapeutic space as well as utilize humor and a real connection.
