I approach goal setting as a collaborative, client-directed process. You identify what feels most important, and together we clarify and shape meaningful, realistic goals. I support you in breaking them into manageable steps while honoring your strengths, pace, and vision for change.
In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and helping you feel comfortable. I’ll ask about your background, current concerns, and what’s bringing you to therapy. We’ll talk about your goals and what you hope to gain from our work together. I’ll also explain confidentiality and answer any questions you have. My goal is to create a warm, supportive space where you feel heard and respected.
