Great to meet you!

You might be someone who keeps it together on the outside while carrying. a lot more on the inside. Maybe anxiety has become background noise you've learned to manage, or you're in the middle of a life shift that's harder to navigate than you expected. Maybe you're holding the weight of family, culture, and identity in ways that don't always fit neatly into a therapy session.

I see that. And I know how to work with it.

I'm a licensed clinical social worker with experience across medical, community mental health, forensic, and educational settings. I've supported individuals and families through chronic illness, crisis, immigration, and cultural identity, legal system navigation, and major life transitions. That breadth means I bring a grounded, real-world perspective to the therapy room.

I specialize in working with adults navigating anxiety, stress, and life transitions, with particular experience supporting women and multicultural and immigrant communities. I bring genuine sensitivity to how identity, culture, and systemic factors shape mental health, and that awareness is present in every part of our work together.

Clients often describe me as warm, calm, and easy to talk to, someone who listens closely and helps them make sense of experiences they've struggled to put into words. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe enough to do real work and supported enough to grow.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and strengths-based. I believe that even in the middle of difficulty, people carry resilience, insight, and the capacity for real change.

In our work together, I help clients explore patterns, process experiences, and build practical tools for navigating life's challenges. That might mean working through anxiety and stress, processing a major transition, strengthening emotional awareness, or developing healthier coping strategies.

I also hold a deep awareness of how culture, identity and lived experiences shape the way people understand themselves and their relationships. My goal is to create a therapeutic space where you feel safe to reflect, gain insight, and moved toward meaningful and lasting change.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to begin getting to know one another and to build a foundation of comfort and trust. You can expect a welcoming, supportive environment where you are invited to share what brings you to therapy at our own pace.

I will ask some questions to better understand your current concerns, personal history, and what you hope to gain from our work together. There is no expectation to share everything at once. Therapy is a process, and we will move at a pace that feels right for you.
