Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with compassion, cultural sensitivity, and clinical expertise. As a bilingual, bicultural therapist, a former police officer, and a mom, I bring a grounded, empathetic approach to therapy, particularly when working with trauma, grief, and high stress environments. I understand that reaching out for therapy can be a deeply personal, sometimes uncomfortable step, and I honor the courage it takes to begin this journey. Currently, I offer individual therapy for adults through secure telehealth sessions. As a fluent Spanish speaker, I am proud to offer therapy in both English and Spanish, creating an inclusive space for Spanish speaking individuals seeking support. No matter where you are in your process, I’m here to support, guide, and empower you. You don’t have to navigate this alone.

My approach to therapy

My approach is rooted in creating a safe, respectful space where you can feel seen, heard, and supported. I believe therapy is most effective when I meet you where you are. Whether you’re facing daily stress, deep emotional pain, or life transitions, I’m here to walk alongside you with compassion and guidance.I’ve helped clients manage a wide range of concerns, including trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, family and relationship conflict, self-esteem and motivation issues, parenting challenges, communication difficulties, and life transitions such as divorce or separation, and OCD. I also have experience in supporting first responders, addressing multicultural and immigration-related concerns, and an LGBTQIA+ ally. In therapy, I draw from a variety of evidence based modalities tailored to your unique needs. These include Trauma-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy informed interventions (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the Gottman Method, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness-Based practices.

What you can expect from me

As a systemic therapist, I view each person not just as an individual, but as part of a larger

network of relationships and experiences that shape who they are. Together, we’ll explore the many facets of your life from cultural and family dynamics to work, identity, and how they influence your well being.
