Great to meet you!

I welcome all seeking healing, peace, and strength in a complex world. I support adults and young people (ages 10+) navigate the emotional impacts of life’s stresses — from everyday individual overwhelm to the broader weight of social issues.

My Focus:

  • Managing stress, anxiety, depression, life transitions, addressing trauma, taking into consideration cultural context
  • Finding balance, making meaning of your experiences and engaging in your purpose
  • Encouraging you to harness your personal power for individual and collective good

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic style is compassionate, inclusive, and holistic. I believe that emotional health is connected to personal identity and the broader social context. We’ll work through practical strategies to manage stress and may explore how social factors — like race, sex, culture, power — shape your experiences. Our therapy thrives on vulnerable conversation, with support from different kinds of activities to process, reflect and break through blocks, keeping in mind the client's age, personality and issue at hand. We may also harness the quiet power of breathwork, yoga and meditation.

What you can expect from me

We will begin by identifying goals for yourself and/or your chosen community. This will be our guiding star as we navigate your life's challenges.

Expect a space where you are seen, heard, and respected — where your experiences matter. Our work will help you understand yourself better, advocate for your needs and those whom you feel connected to, and develop the strength to thrive.
