Great to meet you!

Finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming, and I believe one of the most important parts of therapy is feeling understood, safe, and supported. My goal is to create a space where you can show up as you are without fear of judgment while we work together toward meaningful, lasting change.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with experience helping adolescents and adults navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, stress, and self-esteem concerns.

I am especially passionate about working with active duty military service members, veterans, and military families. I understand the unique stressors that can accompany military life, including frequent transitions, deployments, reintegration, relationship challenges, trauma, and the pressures of military culture. It is a privilege to support those who serve and their loved ones as they navigate these experiences.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in both evidence-based practices and humanistic principles. I see therapy as a space for exploration rather than advice-giving. Rather than telling you what to do, I will ask thoughtful questions, help you gain insight into patterns that may no longer be serving you, and support you as you navigate change with greater confidence and self-understanding. My hope is that therapy empowers you to make decisions that feel authentic and aligned with the life you want to build.

Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, processing difficult experiences, or simply looking to better understand yourself, I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing and growth.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, so my goal is to make our first session feel welcoming, collaborative, and pressure-free. We'll spend time getting to know each other, discussing what brings you to therapy, and exploring what you hope to gain from the process. I'll ask questions to better understand your experiences, strengths, relationships, and any challenges you're currently facing, while also giving you space to share at a pace that feels comfortable.

The first session is not about having all the answers or diving into every difficult experience right away. Instead, it's an opportunity to begin building a strong therapeutic relationship, identify your goals, and determine how we can work together in a way that best supports your needs. By the end of our session, you'll have a clearer understanding of my approach and a plan for moving forward together.
