Great to meet you!

I know that starting therapy may feel scary, so it is a big goal of mine to make every session feel like a place where you can just be yourself. I believe therapy should be a place where you can show up as you are without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out. I earned my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regis College and have experience working with adults and adolescents in outpatient mental health clinics, public schools, and shelter programs. While I welcome clients from all backgrounds and work with a wide range of concerns, I excel in working with women navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship concerns, and work/academic stress.

My approach to therapy

I strive to make each session feel organic and like a place where clients can vent, reflect, and relax. I help my clients learn from their past experiences and find relief through understanding, awareness, and behavior change. I use compassion, humor, and empowerment to help clients feel more comfortable being vulnerable and expressive. I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy, so I use a blend of evidence-based treatments (like ACT, CBT, DBT, and more) to meet my clients' unique needs.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, we will review intake forms, confidentiality, mandated reporting, insurance/billing, and symptom assessments, if applicable. From there, we can discuss diagnosis and collaborate on what treatment and session structure/frequency will look like going forward.
