Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Marissa, I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and have been working in the field for 7 years. I have a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy and have experience in individual, family, and couples therapy. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of adults navigating complex mental health challenges, substance use and addiction, and major life transitions. While I am well equipped to support clients through a wide array of struggles, I am particularly passionate about working alongside women. I find deep meaning in helping women navigate anxiety, depression and the unique societal and personal pressures they face, helping them reclaim a sense of peace and agency.

My approach to therapy

Therapy shouldn't feel like a one-sided lecture; it is a shared journey. I operate from the fundamental belief that you are the expert in your own life. I am here to provide a safe, grounded space and a fresh perspective to help navigate it. Together, we will look at where you are today, identify the strengths you already possess, and work collaboratively to untangle life's challenges. My goal is to help you cultivate a deeper understanding of yourself so you can find sustainable peace and alignment.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for use to get to know each other and see if this is a good fit. We will discuss what challenges you are currently facing, what has or hasn't worked for you in the past, and what your hopes are for our time together. Think of it as a collaborative conversation where we begin sketching out a roadmap for your growth at a pace that feels comfortable to you.
