Great to meet you!

Taking the first step toward seeking support can feel overwhelming, but you do not have to do it alone. Over the past 15 years of my clinical practice, it has been a profound honor to support individuals and families as they lay a safe, empowering foundation for their mental health. Having earned my Master of Science from Grand Canyon University, I have had the unique privilege of working across a variety of settings, including community mental health, county correctional facilities, hospitals, and private practice. These experiences have provided me with a deep understanding of the diverse challenges people face and the incredible resilience they possess. Today, as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, my practice centers on children, adolescents, adults, and mothers in all stages of motherhood. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, complex trauma, or the shifting demands of life transitions, I am fiercely committed to helping you discover your strengths and build a healthier, more fulfilling life.

My approach to therapy

I believe that genuine emotional growth takes root when we blend structured, evidence-based practices with a deeply authentic human connection. My approach is warm, supportive, and collaborative, grounded in the core belief that every person has the ability to heal and create meaningful change when provided with the right support. To help you achieve this, I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy skills, mindfulness practices, and person-centered therapy. By combining these proven modalities, we will work alongside one another to outline tangible goals that address your specific needs. Together, we will focus on reducing symptoms of emotional overwhelm, challenging unhelpful thought patterns, establishing healthy boundaries, and strengthening your emotional regulation so you can respond rather than react to difficult situations. I strive to provide practical tools that can be applied in everyday life to support your long-term emotional wellness and personal success.

What you can expect from me

Initiating therapy requires immense bravery, and my hope is that our sessions serve as a calming retreat where you can safely step away from the chaotic demands of daily life. In our first session, I prioritize creating a warm, non-judgmental environment where you feel truly heard and valued right from the start. We will gently explore your history, current symptoms, and the specific challenges that brought you in, moving at a natural, comfortable pace without any pressure to have all the answers. I want you to feel completely safe exploring your thoughts and emotions as we collaboratively clarify your client-centered goals. By the time you leave, my aim is for you to feel empowered and confident in the direction of our work, knowing you have a dedicated partner on your journey toward lasting wellness.
