I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of FL. with over 27 years' experience in both the Community Mental Health setting as well as working with individuals, couples and families as a licensed counselor. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, adults, & families around issues of depression/anxiety, behavioral concerns, parenting, relationships/family issues, adjustment/transitions, and trauma.
My style is not always “easy”, I will most often push you past your comfort zone, but I will always be empathetic and patient ensuring your well-being at all times. My therapeutic approach is strength based with eclectic therapeutic techniques that conform to the individualized needs of my clients. I use a holistic approach to mental health therapy: mind, body, emotional and social factors.
As your therapist I will assist you in identifying those things. It has taken a lifetime to create the person who you are currently, and it is small changes that will assist in creating the person who you want to become.
