Specializes in

Depression, Grief, Loss, Relationship Issues, and Trauma

Great to meet you!

I specialize in trauma and PTSD and their impact on our mind-body-spirit, including attachment difficulties - anxiety around relationships/trouble trusting others, inability to self-regulate and healthily express emotions, somatic concerns, dissociations, low self-worth, feelings of shame and guilt, and lack of cohesive sense of self. I work with adult individuals and couples and see a range of other problems, including depression, anxiety, grief, and interpersonal and relationship difficulties.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is integrative, based on emotion-focused, attachment, and internal family systems theories. I believe healing begins when we attend to neglected parts within our psych and work through our painful emotional experiences in a safe and empathic environment.

What you can expect from our first session

I strive to promote emotional awareness by helping clients develop the ability to process and regulate emotions. Additionally, my philosophy views the individual as an integration of mind-body-spirit, and I draw interventions from multiple evidence-based perspectives to promote meaning, hope, healing, secure attachments, and further growth.
