Great to meet you!

I am an LICSW with 33 years of experience, including over a decade of leadership and supervising clinical staff in community mental health programs. After earning my MSW from Simmons College, I focused my practice on helping adults of all ages navigate complex life transitions, depression, anxiety, and intense emotions. I provide practical, real-world skills to help you manage stress and build emotional balance. My extensive clinical background allows me to provide deeply knowledgeable, collaborative care tailored to your unique goals.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, practical, and entirely centered around you and your unique life journey. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach; instead, I blend a variety of therapeutic styles to support you through whatever challenges, changes, or daily stressors you are facing. I combine the concrete, everyday skills of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with a gentle, authentic environment where you can feel deeply heard. Together, we will focus on your strengths, explore your history, map out your goals, and build a peaceful, balanced life that feels truly worth living.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a warm, welcoming and entirely pressure-free space where we can get to know each other. Because starting therapy is a courageous step, our primary goal is simply to help you feel comfortable, safe, and truly heard. We will gently explore what brings you to therapy, look at the current challenges you are facing, and discuss what a balanced, fulfilling life looks like for you.
