Great to meet you!

I have seven (7) plus years of experience working with individuals and their families in an urban environment who find it difficult to; cope with daily life stressors, challenges of addiction and substance abuse and managing their mental health. Prior to working as a Therapist, I worked as a Social Worker with children and their families in Child Welfare who struggle with trauma, parent incarceration, anger management, substance use disorder, and mood disorder.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My goal is to provide you with a safe and nonjudgmental space to talk about your feelings, experiences, and thoughts to empower clients towards positive change and healing. My motto is one style doesn't suite everyone. There is no one technique to provide the right tools to an individual to address pain and each individual issue is unique.

What you can expect from our first session

I work with individual patients, incorporating their own strengths and skills to address their unique needs. We also work together to develop a personalized treatment plan. I use evidenced based interventions to help assist you with meeting your treatment goals. These interventions allow you to express your thoughts and feelings in a safe, judgement-free setting, which lead to better self-understanding and valuable insights.
