Great to meet you!

I began my career in community mental health in 2010. I completed my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Evangel University. Prior to becoming a therapist I worked as a nurse for 13 years. This background leads me to take a holistic, whole-person approach to my practice. I work with children, adolescents, and adults and have specialized in treatment of trauma, ADHD, and child-parent conflicts.

My approach to therapy

Mental health is a product of tending to all aspects of wellness (emotional, physical, intellectual, spiritual, environmental, social, occupational, and financial). With that in mind, I am training in and use a variety of modalities including CBT, ACT, EMDR, Parent Management Training, and Trauma-Focused CBT. I am also trained in incorporating faith-based interventions into these modalities as desired by my clients.

What you can expect from me

In our first session we will work together to form an individualized treatment plan based on your values and priorities with clear goals based on your individual needs.
