Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Certified ARISE® Interventionist who specializes in working with adolescents and young adults (13-30). Including, the families and/or partners who want the best for them.

In my past full-time roles, I worked at various treatment programs across the country and internationally, supporting teens and young adults facing challenges like breakups, anxiety, depression, substance use, ADHD, impulsivity, addictive screen-use, career uncertainty, academic stress, failure to launch and overall parent or relational conflict.

I’ve sat with families during some of their hardest moments such as: crisis calls, treatment decisions, school refusal, shutdown, and explosive behavior. I understand how overwhelming and isolating it can feel as the person of concern and parent.

What makes my work different is that I don’t just focus on the individual. I work with who they are in a system; in their environment, in their family, in their relationships, in their job or school. I help parents and young people rebuild communication, restore trust, and create real, lasting change at home and in their lives, not just in a therapy room.

Navigating adolescence and adulthood comes with so many hurdles, transitions and social complexities - all while figuring out your values, identity and what you want to stand for. The external pressure all around from society, culture, friends, family or partners dont make it any easier.

If you’re feeling stuck, burned out, or unsure what to do next, you don’t have to navigate it alone.

I can help guide you towards Clarity which will give you both; Confidence and Hope.

My approach to therapy

My approach is practical, structured, and deeply collaborative. I combine evidence-based methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), family systems work, and coaching-style interventions to help clients move from insight to action. That means we won’t just talk about problems—we’ll build clear strategies to handle them in real life. I focus heavily on:

  • Emotional regulation and coping skills
  • Communication and conflict resolution
  • Parent-child dynamics and boundaries
  • Motivation and engagement (especially with teens/young adults)
  • Navigating school, treatment, and behavioral challenges

I’m direct when needed, supportive always, and focused on helping you make progress quickly. Whether I’m working with a teen, young adult or a parent, my goal is to create momentum—so you start seeing change, not just talking about it.

What you can expect from me

The first session is about getting clear, getting grounded, and getting a plan.

We’ll talk through what’s been going on, what’s not working, and what you’ve already tried. I’ll ask focused questions to understand both the immediate challenges and the bigger picture.

By the end of the session, you can expect:

  • A clearer understanding of what’s driving the current struggles
  • Immediate tools or shifts you can start using right away
  • A roadmap for what working together could look like

Most importantly, you’ll leave feeling heard, supported, and more confident about your next steps.

I aim to create a space that’s honest, non-judgmental, and solutions-focused, where you don’t feel stuck anymore.

If you are wondering if I work with adults aside from my parent/teen and young adult work, the answer is yes!
