Great to meet you!

Hello, I am Mark Beach, a Georgia licensed professional counselor with a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have been a counselor and I am currently the executive director of a long-term drug and alcohol rehabilitation program. Working with individuals with substance use disorder has given me the opportunity to counsel individuals with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, as well as emotional and physical trauma.

My approach to therapy

As a counselor I use a client centered approach that is compassionate and interactive. I believe that all clients should be given an empathetic ear and treated with respect and sensitivity. Cognitive-behavioral therapy is my main approach to therapy; however, I recognize that all individuals are unique and have specific needs. I work hard to customize each of my therapy sessions to meet the needs of the individual person.

What you can expect from me

I believe that therapy is a journey. There are paths that need to be explored in order to find wounds that need healing, to find hidden gems about yourself that either you never discovered or that you have lost along the way. It is my desire as a therapist to help you set goals and walk through the journey of discovery with you, as you reach those goals.
