Great to meet you!

I’m Mark W. Boyce, MAEd, LPCC-S, and I bring nearly 30 years of experience helping adolescents and adults navigate life’s challenges. My counseling experience spans community mental health, school-based services, home-based counseling, and private practice. I have worked with individuals facing a wide range of concerns, including trauma, domestic violence, addiction, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and other mood and thought disorders.

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in my belief that understanding your experiences is an important step toward creating meaningful change. I recognize that no two people are alike, and I value getting to know each person’s unique circumstances, challenges, and goals. My aim is to help you gain insight, develop effective coping strategies, and find a path forward that fits your needs.

In addition to my counseling experience, I spent 15 years in clinical research conducting psychological and neurological assessments for clinical drug trials. I contributed to research involving more than 20 mental health medications and treatments for conditions including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, and migraines. This experience has given me a broader understanding of mental health and the evolving approaches to treatment.

What you can expect from me

Taking the first step toward counseling can be difficult, especially when you’re unsure where to begin. You don’t have to have everything figured out before reaching out. I welcome the opportunity to work with you as you explore your concerns, build on your strengths, and work toward a healthier, more fulfilling life.
