Great to meet you!

My name is Dr. Mark Cochran. I have a doctorate in clinical psychology and completed my graduate training and internship at American Psychological Association accredited programs. I have over 16 years of experience as a licensed psychologist, and over 25 years of experience working in various roles in mental health services. I specialize in cognitive therapies with adults and older adults with identified presenting issues that range from difficulty adjusting to life changes to serious mental illness.

My approach to therapy

I take a balanced and collaborative approach to therapy, providing you with support, structure, and perspective as we work together to achieve your goals.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I will take time to learn more about you as a whole person, including but not limited to the presenting issue. We will work together to set goals and determine an approach that makes sense to you. Many people report feeling better after just taking this first step. However, therapy takes commitment and participation on your part, both inside and outside of the session.
