Great to meet you!

I’m a compassionate counselor who works with individuals and families navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. Many of the people I work with come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward. My goal is to create a space where you can slow down, feel safe, and reconnect with your inner strength.

I hold a Master of Divinity with a specialization in Psychology and Counseling from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. I completed my clinical training through the Masters and Johnson program at River Oaks Psychiatric Hospital in Harahan, Louisiana, where I gained extensive experience working with eating disorders, trauma, dissociation, personality disorders, and substance use concerns. I also supported adults with severe and persistent mental health conditions, as well as children and adolescents facing emotional and behavioral challenges.

Today, my work focuses on supporting women, teen girls, and families who are seeking help with anxiety, trauma recovery, relationship stress, and major life changes. Whether you are coping with the impact of past experiences or feeling stuck in the present, I aim to meet you with empathy, curiosity, and respect for your lived experience.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best when you feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported without judgment. My approach is collaborative and grounded in both deep empathy and evidence-informed practices. I help clients step into a space where they can finally exhale and begin to explore what has been weighing on them.

Rather than rushing to fix or label, I focus on building safety, trust, and connection. Together, we work to strengthen insight, develop practical tools, and support meaningful, sustainable change. Therapy is not just about healing what hurts. It is about helping you feel empowered, more grounded, and better equipped to move forward with clarity and confidence.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is about giving you room to breathe. You set the pace, and we start wherever you feel most comfortable. We will explore what brought you to therapy without pressure to have the right words or a clear plan.

I will ask thoughtful, gentle questions to better understand your concerns, strengths, and what you hope to gain from therapy. Above all, my intention is for you to feel grounded, supported, and truly seen as we begin this work together.
