Great to meet you!

If you feel stuck in your thoughts, overwhelmed by the pressures of daily life, or unsure how to navigate a heavy life transition, you are in the right place. I specialize in helping adults who look completely "fine" on the outside, but feel mentally exhausted, trapped in old ruts, or disconnected from what matters most. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with over a decade of experience. I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Alabama and am dually licensed to provide 100% virtual care to clients across both Alabama and Washington State. My approach is down-to-earth and holistic. Rather than focusing on a single label or diagnosis, we will look at your whole life—your relationships, your pressures, and your unique history. My goal is to help you move past the "spiral" of overthinking and find your footing again, stepping into a life that feels deeply purposeful and aligned with your actual values.

My approach to therapy

My primary framework is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). This is a highly practical, active, and evidence-based method designed to help you step out of the daily mental struggle. Instead of spending all your energy trying to "fix," force away, or win a war against difficult thoughts and feelings, I will help you learn gentle, everyday tools to handle them differently. This approach focuses on helping you reconnect with what brings you genuine meaning, ensuring that you are the author of your choices rather than being driven by stress or uncertainty.

I don't believe in rigid, one-size-fits-all protocols. Instead, I offer a warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental space where you can let down your guard. I am also deeply trauma-informed, prioritizing your safety and emotional pacing in every conversation we have.

What you can expect from me

Whether you choose to start with a brief, free 15-minute consultation or dive straight into a full initial intake session, my primary goal is simply to help you feel heard, safe, and entirely at ease. There is no performance required here—you are welcome to show up exactly as you are. If we are doing a short consultation call, we will use that time to introduce ourselves, briefly touch on what's bringing you to therapy, and see if my approach feels like a good match for you. When we meet for your first full-length session, we will treat it as a relaxed, conversational evaluation of where you currently feel stuck and what is—or isn’t—truly working for you right now. We will look at the big picture of your life chapter and your environment. By the end of that first full meeting, we will outline a clear, common-sense starting point to help you pivot away from the daily mental grind and move toward a renewed sense of purpose.
