Great to meet you!

I provide psychiatric evaluation and medication management for adults experiencing anxiety, depression, insomnia, and stress-related symptoms alongside medical conditions, caregiving responsibilities, and major life transitions.

My practice is designed for adults who may be managing multiple health conditions, complex medication regimens, or significant life stressors that affect emotional well-being and daily functioning.

I primarily work with middle-aged and older adults, as well as individuals navigating medical illness, caregiving roles, or changes in health status. My approach emphasizes clarity, structure, and practical treatment planning focused on stability and improved functioning.

I understand that emotional health and physical health are closely connected. Many of my patients are balancing chronic medical conditions, multiple medications, caregiving responsibilities, or major life transitions while also managing anxiety, depression, or sleep problems. My goal is to simplify treatment, reduce unnecessary medication burden when appropriate, and develop practical plans that improve day-to-day functioning.

My approach to therapy

As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I take a thoughtful, evidence-based approach to medication management. Treatment is collaborative and focused on understanding symptoms in context, identifying barriers to improvement, and making careful, clinically appropriate adjustments when needed.

Care is collaborative, evidence-based, and individualized. Treatment decisions are made together, with careful attention to both psychiatric symptoms and medical conditions. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, sleep concerns, and emotional distress related to both psychological and medical factors.

Appointments are typically available within a few days, with evening availability to support working adults.

What you can expect from me

During the first visit, we complete a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, including a review of symptoms, medical history, medications, and treatment goals.

We will discuss potential medication options, expected benefits, risks, and alternatives. Together, we develop a clear, individualized treatment plan tailored to your specific needs. You will have time to ask questions and leave with a clear understanding of the treatment plan and next steps.

Follow-up visits focus on tracking treatment response, making adjustments when appropriate, and supporting ongoing stability and improvement in symptoms, sleep, and functioning.
