
I, Mark Melillo, MS, LAADC, LCADC, EMDR-T, ICADC, CCTP, CYT-200, am a Licensed Advance Alcohol and Drug Counselor in the state of California and a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug counselor in the state of New Jersey. I hold a master’s degree in Human Services from Capella University in Minneapolis, MN and an undergraduate degree in Organizational Behavior and Development from the University of North Texas. I enjoy working with clients from all walks of life, diverse cultures and backgrounds.
The therapeutic treatments I utilize are based on the individual, focusing on the underlying issues causing pain, using a combination of talk and holistic therapy including; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Pranotthan Yoga (Utilizes the Koshas), Mindfulness Meditation, Eye Movement and Desensitization Therapy (EMDR), Guided Meditation, and movement re-education.
My client's can expect to be listened to and heard in a non-judgmental manner. Each person is engaged in a compassionate, empathetic, and caring way. The journey to healing comes through self-awareness and a self directed life.
