Great to meet you!

As a veteran and Licensed Professional Counselor with 13 years of experience, I know that some things are easier to carry alone than to explain. I work with adults facing anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, grief, and men's issues, including those transitioning from military to civilian life. My approach is direct, collaborative, and grounded in what actually helps you move forward. If you are ready to that step, i look forward to working with you.

My approach to therapy

My approach is empathetic, direct, and solution-focused. I meet you wherever you are and help you take meaningful steps towards your goals. For trauma and PTSD, I draw on CPT and EMDR, methods that work directly with the experiences still affecting you rather than just managing the symptoms. For anxiety and depression, I use CBT and ACT to shift the thought patterns which are keeping you stuck. I also draw on motivational interviewing to help you clarify what you want and build momentum toward it. Together we identify your strengths and create practical strategies for real progress.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I will focus on creating a space where you feel comfortable, heard, and supported. We will begin getting to know each other and discussing what brings you to therapy, the concerns you are facing, and what you hope to change. I will listen carefully and collaborate with you to identify a treatment plan that outlines your goals. From there, we can build a clear path forward at a pace that feels right for you.
