Great to meet you!

Looking back on my life story, I recognize that mental illness has been the main theme in several chapters of the journey. In the first, mental illness was personally the source of significant confusion, struggle, and emotional suffering. But after reaching out for help and growing, now today I've found that helping to empower others in their own healing process has become a source of purpose. That's why I love what I do!

My approach to therapy

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I provide talk therapy, guided by mindfulness and acceptance based cognitive therapies (primarily Acceptance and Commitment Therapy). For trauma and abuse, I also provide Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (which can alleviate the suffering associated with PTSD). One of my primary tasks as a therapist will be to assist you with finding effective ways of traveling in the life directions you find most meaningful.

What you can expect from me

What I believe in most is providing an attentive, compassionate space where clients can choose what they want from their session. I'm here to listen, help, and identify possible options that can make a difference. So, if you're struggling, suffering, or unsure how to make desired life changes, I'd be happy to walk through those challenges with you. We will learn to open up, be present, and do what matters. Give me a call today and we'll begin making a plan to move you forward.
