Great to meet you!

My name is Mark Priday and I have been a professional counselor for more than 25 years. I am very excited to return to private practice. Helping my clients is something I enjoy so much. Professionally I have worked in a variety of settings including hospitals and residential treatment centers. Personally, I have been married for over 36 years and have two grown children with one wonderful grandchild (so far?). I draw on my personal experience often when doing marriage and couples counseling as this is a great resource. I am active in my church community and serve in my congregation's eldership. Thank you for taking a few minutes to view my website and I look forward to meeting you.

My approach to therapy

I make every effort to "come along side" my clients through narrative therapy. While I am cognitively centered and will use a variety of techniques, focusing on the therapeutic relationship is my primary focus.

What you can expect from me

I believe strongly that when you seek counseling you are a consumer and should be free to ask questions about me. I work to build rapport with my clients in order to make their counseling experience comfortable.
