Great to meet you!

When it comes to therapy, as with most things in life, the hardest step is usually the first. I have tremendous respect for the courage it takes to open up and be authentic. I specialize in working with neurodivergent adolescents and men with depression, anxiety, and relationship issues.

I offer virtual (tele-health) therapy for individuals anywhere in Colorado and Utah, and in person nature-based sessions for clients living in or near Durango, CO.

I graduated from Fordham University in 2017 with my Masters of Social Work, and have over a decade of experience working with individuals and families.

My approach to therapy

Whatever you might be struggling with, my goal is to meet you where you are and help you move forward. Therapy is a partnership and I believe in the power of collaboration — where we work together to explore your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors in a way that feels authentic to you.

As a fellow human being myself, I know that so much suffering and pain comes from feeling "stuck" in one's negative patterns. I will meet you with compassion, while also challenging you to dig deeper on your path to getting "unstuck". I’m not here to give you all the answers; I’m here to help you find your own.

I have specific training in and draw from IFS (Internal Family Systems), Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), Motivational Interviewing, Post-Traumatic Somatic Growth, and eco/nature based interventions. Fundamentally, I practice from a perspective that therapy is never "one-size-fits-all" and the foundation of the work is human connection and trust.

What you can expect from me

The first session is about building trust, discussing what's bringing you to therapy, and starting to explore some goals of what you want to get out of the experience. It all starts with creating a space where you feel comfortable showing up however you feel, however you are.
