Great to meet you!

Constant overthinking, anxiety and mental exhaustion can make it difficult to relax, focus or fully enjoy life. You may feel trapped in worry, stuck in repetitive thoughts, emotionally overwhelmed or exhausted from constantly analyzing everything. Therapy should provide more than temporary relief or endless talking about problems. I help people develop practical skills to calm the nervous system, change unhealthy thinking patterns and build a healthier relationship with thoughts, emotions and stress.

I specialize in working with anxiety, OCD, overthinking, rumination and depression using evidence-based approaches including CBT, ACT and mindfulness-based therapies.

My approach to therapy

My approach is down to earth, practical, supportive and goal-oriented. I work to create an environment where clients feel understood while also being challenged to grow and make meaningful changes. Using an evidence-based approach integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness-based strategies, I help clients reduce overwhelming anxiety, manage stress more effectively, build self-confidence and break free from unhelpful patterns. I focus on helping clients better understand the relationship between their thoughts, emotions, behaviors and nervous system so they can build emotional resilience and reconnect with a more balanced and meaningful life.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a supportive, relaxed and nonjudgmental environment where they feel heard and understood. During the first session, I focus on learning about you, your current struggles, personal history, strengths and goals while helping you begin to better understand the patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Together, we will identify practical goals and begin developing a plan tailored to your needs using evidence-based approaches. My goal is for clients to leave the first session feeling hopeful, understood and with a clearer sense of direction moving forward.
