Great to meet you!

"I've been eve-ry-where, man!" Born in Pasadena, CA, raised in California (till 3), Kentucky and West Virginia, I have lived all over the country including in the Appalachian Mountains, the Northeast, the North Central, the Southeast, and eventually in the Southwest. I have over 35 years experience utilizing communication and motivation skills assisting clients the internal inspiration to facilitate healthy lifestyle changes. I earned my Master's Degree in 1995 from Western Kentucky University. I have experience working at multiple levels of Mental Health and Substance Abuse treatment. I have 38 years clean and sober.

My approach to therapy

I am a guide for a person or system seeking truth and peace who may be in the dark as to what blocks them in their journey. The guidance involves improving self awareness to identify needs, and helping an individual or system learn and practice skills to move towards fulfillment or those needs. I present without judgment with focus on strengths and awareness development. I utilize CBT and 12 Step Facilitation in my therapy.

What you can expect from me

I bring a positive and optimistic outlook to the meeting. I stimulate inner awareness towards realistic perspectives of the here and now. Greetings to all seeking an ally in facing truth with the difficulty and joy the journey entails. If you hope you are not alone in your search, you definitely do not need to be. I am here.
