Great to meet you!

I have over 30 years of experience working in the mental health field and have had the privilege of supporting individuals from many different backgrounds and stages of life. I work with children (ages 8+), adolescents, adults, older adults, couples, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. Throughout my career, I've worked across multiple levels of mental health and substance use treatment, helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, substance use, personality disorders, and life transitions.

I believe meaningful healing begins with honesty, self-awareness, and having someone beside you who is willing to walk through the process with you. My goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel accepted while also being encouraged to grow.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy is a collaborative process built on trust, honesty, and mutual respect. My role is not to tell you how to live your life, but to help you better understand yourself, recognize patterns that may be holding you back, and develop practical tools to create lasting change.

My approach is client-centered, trauma-informed, and tailored to your unique needs. I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), 12-Step Facilitation, and other evidence-based approaches while creating a safe space where you can explore challenges, build resilience, and move toward the life you want. I strive to balance empathy with compassionate honesty, gently challenging clients when needed while always supporting them throughout the process.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. I'll spend time learning about your story, what brings you to therapy, and what you hope to accomplish. My goal is to create an environment where you feel comfortable sharing at your own pace, without fear of judgment.

Together, we'll begin identifying your strengths, challenges, and goals, and we'll discuss a plan that feels realistic and meaningful for you. I believe therapy works best when it's collaborative, so we'll work together to create an approach that fits your needs and supports your growth.
