Great to meet you!

If you're navigating a life transition, or dealing with ADHD, OCD, anxiety, or depression, I'd love to work with you. I'm currently accepting older teens and adults for telehealth appointments, and I bring a wide range of evidence-based tools to our work together.

A little about my background: I served in the US Army before earning my Bachelor's and Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Since then, I've worked in psychiatric hospitals, residential care, and outpatient settings. I take my work seriously, but also try to keep things light-hearted when necessary. I'm pretty laid back, and I think that comes through pretty quickly once we start talking. I have also learned to cope and coexist ADHD, have experienced major depressive episodes, and overcome struggles with OCD.

My approach to therapy

Whether you're brand new to therapy or a seasoned pro, my goal is to leave you with real knowledge and skills you can carry with you long after our sessions end. And if you're not sure what you even want out of therapy yet, that's okay! We'll figure it out together, and use concrete outcome measures to track how things are shifting over time.

I've worked with kids, teens, and adults across a lot of different settings, and my style tends to be calm and unhurried. I'm not here to push you toward change, I'm here to make space for it to happen. I weave in trauma-informed care and mindfulness practices to support whatever you're working through, and I'm trained in TF-CBT and EMDR.

What you can expect from me

Initial conversations typically involve discussing what brings you to therapy, how long things have been going on, and what you're hoping to achieve through our work together. I also like to use this time to answer and questions you may have about me, my approach, and therapy in general. I'm genuinely invested in your growth. We're in this together.
