Great to meet you!

Healing and growth doesn't require having it all figured out before you start — it begins with curiosity. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, difficult relationships, or simply feeling stuck, therapy can be a place where you slow down, make sense of your experiences, and begin taking steps towards your best possible self.

I'm an LPC in Georgia with several years of experience working with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction, and I especially work well with people who know something needs to change but aren't quite sure where to begin. I've worked especially well with people with addictions, looking for stability and self-sufficiency.

My approach to therapy

My work is grounded in the belief that healing begins when individuals feel safe enough to bring in every part of themself. I understand that balancing work, family relationships, and personal well-being can be challenging; I enjoy uniquely honoring every facet of a person's identity while also understanding that the demands of those parts may need to show up differently at given moments.

My work has allowed me to work with a variety of life concerns, including substance use disorders, mood disorders, stress management, self-esteem/identity, relationships, and spiritual formation. I also understand the unique cognitive style, sensory patterns, and lived experiences, while celebrating that all brains are custom-built.

My approach to therapy is collaborative, strength-based, and integrative, drawing from cognitive behavioral, motivational interviewing, dialectical behavioral therapy, DBT, narrative therapy, utilizing a person-centered, trauma-informed, family systems, and attachment lens.

Curiosity is my strength and I believe curiosity creates space for change. My approach offers an opportunity to replace self-criticism with curiosity - to explore patterns, understand emotions and behaviors, and discover new possibilities with compassion, rather than shame.

What you can expect from me

As someone who has felt stuck in life for years, I understand that a little curiosity is all your need to begin. Our first session is really just a conversation guided by curiosity. You'll share what's been going on and what's brought you to therapy, and we'll start to get a sense of what you're hoping to get out of the process. I'll ask a few questions to understand your background and your goals, but you set the pace. There's no pressure to have everything figured out or to share more than you're ready for. By the end, we'll have a sense of each other and a starting point for the work ahead.
