Great to meet you!

Life stressors can contribute to feelings of anxiety, depression, loneliness, and even hopelessness. If you are feeling any of these, know that you are not alone. I work with clients to re-examine stressful situations in a safe, judgement free environment. Together we can identify goals and potential solutions to problems which cause pain and confusion and work to improve communication, coping skills and self-esteem.

My approach to therapy

I enjoy working with adults and teens with a range of concerns including anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship issues, social anxiety and life transitions. As a parent and former teacher, I have experience working with children who are considered "gifted" as well as those who struggle socially, academically or with self-confidence. In addition to talk therapy I sometimes utilize art, sandtray and other expressive techniques as appropriate.

What you can expect from me

I am glad that you are reaching out for support and help. I cannot promise that your circumstance will change, but I can promise to support you and do my very best to understand you, as well as to help you clarify what it is that you want for yourself. Together we can discover the strength you possess to achieve your goals and heal from painful experiences.
