Great to meet you!

I understand that life happens, needing to see a therapist is not a reflection of who you are or how capable you are. As a doctoral-level psychologist with specialty training, I would like to help you feel empowered to handle your situation. I specialize in working with adults across a wide range of life transitions. Whether you're experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, family stress, loss, trauma or daily lifestyle struggles, I would like to support you and give you the tools needed to manage difficult circumstances.

My approach to therapy

Developing a trusting relationship with my clients is the foundation upon which therapy develops. That said, I use a variety of therapeutic techniques, integrating them to create a tailored, effective approach. For example, I use elements of CBT & DBT, and utilize a trauma lens when working with clients. I work with clients in a holistic manner, helping clients put together the pieces of their lives that puzzle and confound. Clients tend to feel empowered and validated, and better able to steer the course of their lives.

What you can expect from me

The therapeutic journey starts with a trusting environment. We will work to develop a plan that reflects your goals and best suits your needs. We explore personal history, family dynamics, relational experiences and self-image. Clients gain insights and skills to better cope, and feel more hopeful and empowered.
