Great to meet you!

My name is Marlene Gold I am a licensed psychotherapist with over 35 years of clinical experience. I followed my passion to assist people by obtaining a BA in Psychology, followed by a Masters in Counseling and received specialized training at the Institute of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I have treated individuals who are suffering with anxiety, anger, depression, trauma, grief and mental illness. I am open minded and humorous which often relieves stress and helps strengthen relationships.

My approach to therapy

I believe in a client centered approach that focuses on helping individuals learn to shift their perspective from one in which you may feel frustrated, stuck, scared or angry, to one in which you will find the courage, willingness, love, and wisdom to move forward in any situation. Sometimes we just need to learn the tools and strategies that are available to help us live a more productive, happy, satisfying and fulfilling life.

What you can expect from me

Through our work together you will learn the tools and strategies to help heal and empower you to become your best self, learn to identify your strengths, feel validated, and have the opportunity to explore your thoughts, feelings, and patterns of behavior. In addition you will learn to better manage the daily stressors of your life, which will help alleviate your feelings of anxiety, depression, or anger. Most of all you will increase your self-esteem and find the happiness you deserve.
