Great to meet you!

Hello, I'm Marly DelGabriel, APRN, PMHNP-BC, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to helping individuals improve their mental health and overall well-being. I have experience providing psychiatric care in emergency, consult-liaison, inpatient, outpatient, and telepsychiatry settings, working with young and older adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, bipolar disorder, ADHD, psychotic disorders, personality disorders, and life transitions.

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and judgment-free. I believe every person has a unique story, and I strive to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered. Together, we will develop a personalized treatment plan that may include medication management, psychotherapy, or both, based on your individual needs and goals.

I utilize evidence-based approaches and psychoeducation while providing culturally responsive, patient-centered care. My goal is not only to reduce symptoms but also to help you build resilience, strengthen healthy coping skills, improve relationships, and achieve lasting emotional wellness.

Seeking help is a courageous first step, and I look forward to partnering with you on your journey toward healing and personal growth.

My approach to therapy

I believe that effective mental health care is built on trust, collaboration, and respect. Every individual has unique experiences, strengths, and goals, so I take the time to understand your story and work with you to develop a treatment plan that meets your specific needs.

My approach is compassionate, nonjudgmental, and evidence-based. I incorporate a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Behavioral Therapy, Behavioral Modification Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Bowen Family Systems Therapy, Trauma-Focused Therapy, and psychoeducation. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach, I work collaboratively with each client to determine which strategies best align with their preferences, values, and treatment goals.

I believe that you are the expert on your own life. My role is to provide guidance, education, and clinical expertise while respecting your choices and empowering you to make informed decisions about your care. Whether treatment includes medication, therapy, lifestyle changes, or a combination of approaches, we will work together to find what is most effective for you.

My goal is to help you better understand yourself, build resilience, develop healthy coping skills, strengthen relationships, and become the best version of yourself. I am committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where you feel heard, respected, and encouraged throughout your journey toward lasting emotional wellness.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another in a comfortable, supportive, and judgment-free environment. I will take the time to listen to your concerns, learn about your personal history, and understand what has brought you to seek care. Together, we will discuss your symptoms, strengths, challenges, and goals for treatment.

Rather than rushing into decisions, I believe in building a strong therapeutic relationship first. We will work collaboratively to develop an individualized treatment plan that reflects your needs, preferences, and priorities. If appropriate, we may discuss medication options, therapy approaches, lifestyle changes, or additional resources that can support your progress.

My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful, with a clear plan and confidence that we are working together toward your mental health and wellness goals.
