Great to meet you!

I’m a counselor and art therapist (board certified!) with experience working with children, adolescents and adults navigate anxiety, stress, burnout, medical challenges, all different types of grief, relationships, trauma, and life transitions. For the past seven years, I have worked in intensive healthcare settings, including a Level I trauma center and a cancer care hospital, where I have supported individuals and families through some of life's most difficult and uncertain seasons.

I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside people facing medical challenges, caregiving responsibilities, traumatic experiences, major life changes, and the many emotions that come with grief, loss, and uncertainty. As a fellow healthcare professional, I understand the unique pressures that can come with caring for others and have passion for supporting healthcare workers, first responders, caregivers, and anyone feeling overwhelmed by life's demands while striving to find greater balance and fulfillment.

While I am trained as an art therapist, creativity is always optional. I offer both traditional talk therapy and creative approaches based on your preference!

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should feel like a genuine conversation- one built on trust, collaboration, and respect for your unique experiences, perspectives, strengths, and goals. My approach is warm, curious, and tailored to your needs, drawing from evidence-based practices while creating a space where you feel comfortable showing up as your authentic self.

My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable showing up exactly as you are. I draw from evidence-based approaches while recognizing that no two people are the same, and therapy should reflect that.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance for us to get to know one another and determine whether we're a good fit. We'll talk about what's bringing you to therapy, the challenges you're currently facing, your background, and what you hope to gain.

There is no pressure to share everything at once. Many people feel nervous about starting therapy, and that's completely okay. My goal is to help you feel comfortable, fully heard, and understood while moving at a pace that feels right for you. By the end of our session, we'll begin identifying goals and discussing how we can work together to help you move toward them.
