Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Marquest Lindsey, though most people know me as Mr. Q! Life can feel overwhelming at times, whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, or major life transitions. You don't have to face those challenges alone. My goal is to provide a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where you can feel comfortable being yourself, talking openly, and working toward meaningful change.

I work with adolescents, adults, and families from diverse backgrounds, helping them navigate life's challenges while building healthier ways to cope, communicate, and grow. I believe therapy should feel collaborative, practical, and personalized to your unique experiences, not like a one-size-fits-all process. Together, we'll focus on your strengths, identify what's holding you back, and create realistic goals that help you feel more confident, balanced, and fulfilled.

My approach to therapy

No two people are alike, which is why I tailor therapy to meet your individual needs and goals. I use an integrative approach, drawing from evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Family Systems Therapy.

Together, we'll explore the patterns, thoughts, and experiences that may be contributing to your current challenges while building practical tools you can use in everyday life. Whether you're looking to reduce anxiety, improve relationships, manage overwhelming emotions, process trauma, or navigate a difficult transition, we'll work together to develop skills that create lasting change.

My goal is to help you leave each session with greater clarity, stronger coping strategies, and increased confidence in your ability to handle life's challenges.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is simply an opportunity for us to get to know one another. You don't need to have everything figured out before we meet. We'll spend time discussing what's bringing you to therapy, the challenges you're currently facing, and what you hope to accomplish.

I'll answer any questions you have, learn more about your experiences, and work with you to create a personalized treatment plan that aligns with your goals and values. My hope is that you leave your first session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the path ahead.

Therapy is a partnership, and I'm committed to creating a safe, respectful environment where you feel comfortable exploring challenges, celebrating progress, and building the skills needed to create lasting, meaningful change.
