Great to meet you!

Seeking help takes courage, and my goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and judgment-free environment where you feel heard and respected. As a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner with nearly a decade of advanced practice experience, I understand that mental health affects every aspect of life. I take time to understand your unique experiences, symptoms, strengths, and goals before developing a personalized treatment plan.

I work with adolescents and adults experiencing depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, trauma-related disorders, mood disorders, and other mental health concerns. Whether you're seeking care for the first time or looking for a provider who will truly listen, I strive to build a collaborative relationship focused on helping you feel better and function at your best.

My philosophy is simple: every patient deserves compassionate, evidence-based care that is individualized, respectful, and focused on long-term wellness rather than simply treating symptoms.

My approach to therapy

I believe the best mental health care is collaborative. My approach combines evidence-based psychiatric treatment with compassionate listening and patient education so you can make informed decisions about your care.

Treatment may include comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, lifestyle recommendations, and coordination with therapists or other healthcare providers when appropriate. I carefully consider your medical history, lifestyle, personal goals, and preferences before recommending treatment, and I regularly monitor progress to ensure your treatment continues to meet your needs.

I value open communication and encourage patients to ask questions throughout the process. My goal is not only to reduce symptoms but also to help you improve your overall quality of life, strengthen resilience, and develop the tools needed for lasting mental wellness.

Together, we'll create a treatment plan that is practical, personalized, and designed to help you move forward with confidence.

What you can expect from me

Your first appointment is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and develop a clear understanding of what brings you to treatment. My goal is to create a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free environment where you feel comfortable sharing your concerns at your own pace.

During our initial session, we'll discuss your current symptoms, medical and mental health history, medications, lifestyle, relationships, and the goals you hope to achieve through treatment. I'll ask questions to better understand how your symptoms are affecting your daily life, work, school, or relationships, and you'll have plenty of time to ask questions and share what's most important to you.

By the end of the visit, we'll work together to develop an individualized treatment plan that may include medication recommendations, therapy referrals when appropriate, coping strategies, lifestyle modifications, or additional evaluations if needed. If medication is recommended, I'll explain the benefits, potential side effects, and what to expect so you can make an informed decision about your care.

My goal is for you to leave your first session feeling heard, understood, and confident that we have a clear plan to help you move toward improved mental health and overall well-being.
