Great to meet you!

Hi there, I’m Marsha. I’m a Florida Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience supporting adults, couples, and older adults through grief, trauma, medical challenges, and life transitions. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Florida State University and have worked with diverse populations, including veterans, hospice families, dialysis patients, and couples going through relationship issues. My heart is especially in helping older adults and caregivers feel supported, understood, and empowered during difficult seasons of life.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, trauma-informed, and empowerment-focused, with a strong emphasis on grief and loss across the lifespan. I integrate evidence-based modalities such as EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Polyvagal-informed interventions, and somatic strategies to help clients safely process trauma, regulate emotions, and rebuild a sense of meaning after loss. I work collaboratively with adults, couples, and older adults to create a respectful, non-judgmental space where healing feels manageable, growth feels possible, and resilience can be strengthened at every stage of life.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a relaxed, supportive conversation where we begin getting to know each other and building a strong foundation for our work. I’ll invite you to share what’s been weighing on you, what brought you to therapy, and what you hope will feel different in your life. Together, we’ll identify clear, manageable goals and create a personalized plan designed to help you feel more empowered, safe, and able to cope.

You can expect a warm, nurturing, and nonjudgmental environment where you are free to speak openly without fear of shame. I understand how vulnerable this process can feel, and I work to ensure our space is calm, transparent, and collaborative. My goal is to help you restore balance, build resilience, and begin moving toward a life that feels more meaningful and manageable. Let’s get started.
