Great to meet you!

Hello and welcome. My name is Marsha Pierre. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a PhD in Family Therapy. My style is direct, structured, and educational. I approach therapy as both a clinician and a teacher, equipping clients with the tools, knowledge, and insight necessary to create permanent and meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

By navigating conflict, improving communication, and managing interpersonal challenges. I guide clients in recognizing their behavioral patterns and stress responses, identifying emotional needs, strengthening emotional regulation, setting healthy boundaries, resolving conflict, and fostering lasting personal growth. I am trained in working with individuals.

My approach integrates the Bowen Family Systems lens with evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), EMDR therapy, trauma-informed care, Gottman Method couples’ interventions, and specialized treatment for narcissistic abuse.

What you can expect from me

My mission is to inspire confidence, healing, and transformation, empowering clients to navigate life’s challenges while becoming the best version of themselves. Clients will learn a psychoeducation-based approach to achieve their goals.
