Great to meet you!

Marsi specializes in working with children, teens, young adults, and women who are struggling with anxiety, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, and the lingering effects of difficult life experiences. She is passionate about helping clients understand not only what they're experiencing, but why—because insight creates the foundation for lasting healing.

Her approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the latest research in neuroscience and trauma treatment. Marsi integrates evidence-based therapies including EMDR, attachment-based therapy, Polyvagal Theory, somatic interventions, cognitive and behavioral approaches, and play therapy to help clients regulate their nervous systems, process painful experiences, strengthen relationships, and develop greater resilience.

Whether someone is healing from childhood wounds or abuse, breaking generational patterns, navigating a major life transition, or simply feeling overwhelmed by the demands of everyday life, Marsi believes lasting change is possible. She considers it a privilege to walk alongside each client as they rediscover hope, deepen self-understanding, and create meaningful, lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each client's unique needs. I strive to create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow.

Drawing from evidence-based approaches—including EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), attachment-based therapy, Polyvagal-informed care, somatic interventions, play therapy, and solution-focused techniques—I help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, nervous system, relationships, and behaviors. I believe that understanding why we respond the way we do fosters self-compassion and creates the foundation for lasting change.

My experience in both community mental health and school-based therapy has given me the opportunity to work with children, teens, adults, and families from diverse backgrounds while supporting a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges. I welcome clients from all backgrounds and offer both secular and faith-informed therapy based on each client's values and preferences.

Above all, I believe therapy is a partnership built on trust, hope, and practical tools that help clients create meaningful, lasting change.

As Maya Angelou beautifully said, "Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better."

What you can expect from me

During your first session, we'll spend time getting to know one another. I'll listen carefully to your story, learn about your goals, and answer any questions you may have about the therapy process. My priority is to create a calm, supportive environment where you feel heard, understood, and comfortable moving at a pace that feels right for you.

Together, we'll begin identifying your strengths, exploring the challenges that brought you to therapy, and developing a plan that aligns with your goals. My hope is that you'll leave your first session feeling encouraged, supported, and confident that meaningful healing and lasting change are possible.
