Great to meet you!

I’m a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) with a strong foundation in both nursing and mental health care. I earned my master’s degree in nursing after several years of experience as a registered nurse in inpatient psychiatric settings. Since becoming an NP in 2022, I’ve worked with diverse populations across Missouri and Kansas, providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health treatment.

I work with clients ages 14 and up, treating a wide range of psychiatric conditions including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and more. While I do not formally diagnose autism or ADHD, I do help manage symptoms and provide support when those concerns are already diagnosed. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can feel heard, supported, and empowered to heal.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach is holistic, collaborative, and client-centered. I believe in building a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust, respect, and open communication. I combine evidence-based medication management with supportive therapy techniques, and education to help clients better understand and manage their mental health.

I respect each person’s unique story and tailor treatment plans to fit their individual goals, needs, and preferences. I also recognize the importance of faith, cultural background, and personal values in the healing process, and I’m committed to integrating those into care when appropriate.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients can expect a warm, respectful, and judgment-free environment where they feel heard and supported. Each session is focused on helping them gain insight, build coping skills, and find practical strategies for improving their daily life.

Whether we’re discussing medication options, exploring emotional challenges, or setting personal goals, my aim is to help them feel more in control, hopeful, and understood. They’ll leave each session with a clear plan, a sense of direction, and the reassurance that they’re not alone on their journey.
