Martha Bethea

My name is Martha Bethea and I started A Harmonious Mind to provide personalized mental health care to individuals struggling to cope with life stress. My professional experience and education has provided me with the skills and disposition necessary to aid persons struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, suicidal ideation and other mental health concerns. As a 28 year old member of the LGBTQ+ community, I am uniquely positioned to help those who are exploring their sexuality or gender.

Through the use of a strengths perspective, accelerated experiential dynamic psychotherapy, and person-centered relational treatment we can move from pain towards healing. I utilize music, games, art and other activities to make therapy a fun and engaging environment where you can feel safe expressing uncomfortable emotions.

Through my use of unconditional positive regard, we will work together to create a sense of safety in each session. We will collaborate in setting goals that you create based on your strengths and self-expectations.
