Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with four years’ experience in advanced practice nursing. As an Army veteran, I also have 20 years’ experience in trauma and critical care nursing. I provide medication management and limited psychotherapy for a variety of mental health issues. I enjoy working with women’s health issues, veterans, first responders, people with chronic disease processes, and the aging population.

My approach to therapy

I take a holistic approach to treatment, always prioritizing your safety and well-being. I believe your physical, emotional, social, and spiritual health all play important roles in your mental wellness. My background includes years at the bedside in the Intensive Care Unit and in the Emergency Department — both at home and on the battlefield — standing with patients and families during some of life’s most difficult moments. Those experiences have given me a deep understanding of pain, resilience, and the importance of compassionate care.

What you can expect from me

Our first session includes a comprehensive review of your medical and mental health history. We’ll discuss what led you to seek care, your current symptoms, and your goals for treatment. Together, we’ll develop a medication and care plan that you fully understand, feel comfortable with, and that supports your overall well-being.
