Great to meet you!

I believe everyone deserves to feel heard, understood, and accepted for who they are. As a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I strive to create a warm, welcoming, and judgment-free space where you can be yourself without fear of criticism or misunderstanding. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and other mental health challenges. I am welcoming and respectful of diverse backgrounds, identities, relationships, and alternative lifestyles, including nontraditional relationship dynamics and consensual lifestyles. You don't have to fit into anyone else's definition of "normal" to receive compassionate, quality mental health care. My goal is to meet you where you are, understand what matters to you, and help you feel more balanced, confident, and comfortable in your everyday life.

My approach to therapy

I believe mental health care should be a partnership, not simply someone telling you what to do. My approach is compassionate, down-to-earth, and centered around you as an individual. I primarily focus on psychiatric medication management, combining evidence-based treatment with open conversations, education, and practical strategies that fit your life. I take the time to listen, understand your experiences, and discuss options so we can make informed decisions together. I recognize that everyone has different values, relationships, lifestyles, and goals, and I respect those differences without judgment. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach, and I won't automatically view something as a problem simply because it falls outside traditional expectations. My goal is to help you find stability and improve your quality of life while honoring who you are.

What you can expect from me

Our first appointment is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and talk about what brought you here. You can expect a relaxed, respectful conversation where you have the space to share your concerns, ask questions, and be yourself. We'll discuss your symptoms, mental health history, medications, past treatment experiences, and how things are going in your everyday life. I also want to understand what's important to you, including your relationships, support systems, personal goals, and anything else that may influence your well-being. There is no expectation that your life or relationships look a certain way, and you won't be judged for living differently. Together, we'll explore treatment options, including medication when appropriate, and create a plan that feels realistic and manageable. My hope is that you leave feeling heard, respected, and comfortable taking the next step toward feeling better.
