Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who cares deeply about supporting people through the complexities of their mental and emotional health. I bring a warm, compassionate, and down-to-earth presence to my work, and I value creating a space where clients feel safe, respected, and genuinely heard.

My philosophy of care is guided by curiosity and acceptance. I believe every person has a story, and that taking the time to understand each individual's experiences, strengths, and challenges is essential to meaningful healing. My background includes outpatient, telehealth, and emergency psychiatric settings, where I developed strong skills in assessment, crisis intervention, and trauma-informed care. I have a particular interest in working with individuals impacted by trauma, life transitions, and cultural or immigration-related stressors.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, patient-centered, and grounded in evidence-based practice. I lead with curiosity, empathy, and openness, meeting clients where they are and moving at a pace that feels supportive and respectful.

I take a thoughtful and conservative approach to medication management, emphasizing education and shared decision-making so clients feel informed and empowered in their care. When appropriate, I integrate trauma-informed principles and elements of CBT and DBT into medication visits. Above all, I aim to build a trusting relationship where clients feel supported as they explore their story and work towards greater clarity, stability, and well-being.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my goal is to create a calm, welcoming space where you feel comfortable sharing at your own pace. We will spend time getting to know you -- your story, current concerns, and what has or hasn't felt helpful in the past.

I will ask thoughtful questions to better understand your symptoms, experiences, and goals, while also making space for what feels most important to you in that moment. Together, we will begin to clarify next steps and discuss treatment options, including whether medication may be helpful.

Above all, the first session is about building trusts. You can expect a nonjudgmental, collaborative conversation focused on helping you feel supported, understood, and clear about the path forward.
