Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California with over 10 years of experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, adults, families, and older adults across community mental health, trauma-focused settings, and wellness programs. I am passionate about helping individuals navigate emotional challenges while creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where healing and growth can occur.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and tailored to each client’s unique needs. I utilize evidence-based interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, mindfulness techniques, and client-centered approaches to help clients identify barriers, develop healthy coping skills, and work toward meaningful goals.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, we will spend time getting to know one another creating a safe, comfortable space where you can share your concerns at your own pace. We will discuss what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, personal history, strengths, and goals for treatment to gain a better understanding of your unique experiences and needs. We will also review important information related to the therapeutic process, including confidentiality, informed consent, crisis intervention, and any questions you might have about therapy. This session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and share what you hope to gain from therapy.
