Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, who has been practicing in the greater Austin area for over 25 years; I work with adult individuals and couples, helping create a supportive space for them to explore their concerns — whether they are struggling with depression, anxiety, grief, stress, relationship difficulties, or whether they are seeking to achieve more happiness and satisfaction in their lives.

I offer the convenience of online sessions.

A bit about my approach to therapy

In my approach to therapy, I work to provide a non-judgmental environment where clients can gain insight into their emotional world- both past and present. Therapy offers opportunities to change unhelpful patterns, to heal past wounds, to improve relationships with self and others, to honor strengths, and to develop an increased sense of well-being. I approach therapy as a facilitator, holding space for honest exploration- my clients appreciate my straight-forward, warm and engaging approach.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients can expect to take away an increased understanding of themselves- their emotions, their values and their goals. They can expect to improve coping strategies for dealing with stress and anxiety, reduce unhelpful patterns in relationships, better regulate intense emotions such as anger or grief, develop supportive strategies for improving relationship to self and others, and increase their self-confidence in navigating life's challenges.
