Great to meet you!

Hello, my name is Martha Puron. I have been a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist since January 31, 2025, and hold a master’s degree in counseling with a focus on Marriage, Family, and Child Therapy. Since 2010, I have worked in the mental health field, supporting children, adults, and families through an eclectic counseling approach tailored to each client’s needs. My experience includes assessing, diagnosing, and treating mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders through relational and systemic perspectives.

My approach to therapy

Because I practice from structural and systemic lens, I don't view anyone in a vacuum. Whether I am sitting down with a child, an adult, or a family together, we look closely at the invisible blueprints, the dynamics, boundaries, and environments—that shape how you think, feel, and interact. To support sustainable healing, I weave together Structural Therapy to restore clear, loving boundaries in the home, CBT to equip the patient(s) with concrete tools to break unhelpful thought loops, and a Holistic approach that honors the deep connection between mind, body, and lifestyle.

What you can expect from me

While providing immediate emotional relief, I partner with clients to create lasting, structural change. Together, we identify meaningful milestones, such as fostering clear and compassionate communication so every child, adult, or family member feels heard, developing practical CBT strategies to manage everyday triggers, and creating supportive household structures that reduce ongoing power struggles.
