Dr. Martha Wilson is a licensed professional counselor, Black Latine mother of five, and Doctor of Public Administration whose work sits at the intersection of mental health, public systems, and racial equity. With over 13 years of experience in and around the child welfare system, she serves as a national clinical consultant with the Office of Respondent Parent Counsel, where she supports families and challenges harmful systemic practices.
Her background includes nearly four years as an enhanced clinician at North Range Behavioral Health’s crisis center, extensive child protection experience, and leadership in crisis response and public safety consultation. Martha now leads a thriving private practice and partners with the Boulder Police Department as a Public Safety Consultant. Her work is grounded in cultural humility, social justice, and a commitment to transforming systems from the inside out.
